Is age just a number?

No, of course not. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron.

by RBF Life · 2 hearts

No it's an age. Often coincides with a level of maturity and life experience.

No. You have to also factor in brain maturity. Your frontal lobe isn't fully developed until 25 which is what makes men and women that are my age look like disgusting creeps when the person that they're dating is under 25. I'm 38 and dated someone that was 26 when I was 35. There was a huge knowledge, wisdom, and generational gap. He was fun to be around but at the same time it made shit awkward. I could mention a movie or show that everyone my age and above has seen more than once and he wouldn't know wtf I was talking about. He was also very childish in ways and his views on life didn't coincide with mine when it came to knowing what you want and not having the time for games. So I eventually had to permanently end things and cut all contact. He was a helluva tattoo artist, though, so that sucks because he did 3 of my 15. On the other hand, I've had a bf that was 11 years older than me and I was on the opposite end of the spectrum outside of the fact that he was confused about what…

People need to stop repeating this idiotic shit and think critically for like 5 seconds. Did you stop learning things after you turned 25? Did you become unable to make any new habits? How do you think those things happen? The brain doesn't "stop developing"

Soooo scientifically proven facts are idiotic shit? Rrriiiggghhht.. anyone that argues with proven scientific facts is an idiot themselves. Just say that you like younger women who can't make fully adult informed decisions due to the lack of ability to think about and fully understand the consequences and repercussions of their decisions. No one is who they were at 25 or younger. Why? Because they know better than they did then. Why? Because their brain is fully developed and they now have the full ability to think before they make a decision and act on it. So with that said, your idiotic ass can stfu talking to me.

It's not scientifically proven. If you think I'm wrong please point me in the direction of one piece of evidence showing otherwise and I'll tell you I was wrong, but I don't think you can because it's not proven and you just heard it somewhere and started repeating it. No one is who they are at 25 or younger BECAUSE the brain doesn't stop developing. Do you think someone whose 46 is the same person they were at 26?

No

by Tybalt RJ · 1 heart

Absolutely not. Age means potential experience and maturity. Someone going after younger people, not just kids but also young adults, is almost always trying to take advantage of someone’s lack of experience and maturity.

Not exactly, but yes age doesn't define people and relationships. Health and mental state do....

by HorseBot3000 · 0 hearts

It generally denotes a stage that a human has reached in their development process....

Is time just a number, if your answer is no then i suppose age also not just a no. But at the same time it doesn't mean the end of the world, age has nothing to do with maturity as far as I understand

Age is just a number but intentions are important
