I’m a woman and my (extremely religious) parents never talked about consent. Or sex for that matter. And I was not allowed to attend sex ed classes and I didn’t receive any info from my parents. They assumed that if they never talked about it, I would never hear about it or experience it. Having zero bodily autonomy and not being taught good boundaries, I allowed people to do things to me that I should never have allowed. NOTE: do NOT dm me with your sick questions about what people did to me. FUCK OFF.
