Do you think it’s a red flag for a guy you’re dating to show you outfits he thinks you’ll look pretty in?

I’m not sure, it highly depends on if he’s trying to be controlling or just making suggestions, if he’s trying to change me or just wanna see me in something new for a change which HE WILL PAY FOR, but what I like the most is when my bf tells me he likes any outfits that make me feel happy and confident, I still don’t know what his preferences are for me when it comes to fashion, because he’s always so supportive about everything I try as long as it makes me happy!!
Love that for you!
It depends on the vibe. If he's trying to be controlling or change me, that's a red flag. If he is being genuine, knows my own style, and says something would look great on me: that's a green flag and I'd probably try it on
Not unless he's trying to say "this is what you need to wear" I dated someone who was very controlling with what I wore. Or tried to be. Don't bother. If he's just presenting it as "I think this would look good on you" fine
Constantly? Yes, because their image and my own self image isn't aligning
No, I think it's cute, like he's just saying "I saw this and thought you'd look pretty in it" and not "you have to wear this" or "Id prefer if you wore this"
Yeah I think it’s cute. Plus I like the idea of making their day by wearing the outfit they want to see me in
No, he better know my size and fashion
Not at all! Some of us dudes have a really good sense patterns/colour matching, or atleast I do lol been tempted to take a course on something about it but im not sure what... im not good at drawing, so designing wouldn't be it
Depends on the context. If it's completely different from anything you currently wear or are extremely revealing then I'd be wary. Otherwise it doesn't mean much of anything
This is the dumbest shit I ever heard. Shit to you females anything a guy does is the ick or a red flag. Wonder why men are stepping away from dating and being in a relationship with you dumb fucks.
Personally I don’t see a problem with it but context matters. If there’s an outfit he wants to see me in and gets it for me, that’s fine because of course I want to look good for my man and make him happy. But if it’s a mandatory command then that’s weird.
Yeah leave him and let him find someone who isn’t neurotic
This one depends on how long you have been dating
Did we just start talking and dating? Yes , red flag. Have we been together for a while and I actively asked him? No.
In this day and age, I would get worried about him being those skinwalker trans who always end up dressing like the wife or the gf or the sister.
What is a "skinwalker trans"?
The type that imitates a close woman in their life (usually their own SO or a sister). They would dress like them, get a similar haircut or a wig and even choose a similar name. It’s creepy as hell. They sometimes even do it to other transwomen close to them.
Oh, never heard of that actually happening
I personally wouldn't like it. But idk if it's a red flag
Hell no green flag
Hello all
No, especially if he buys them for you. It could be considered thoughtful.
Yeah. It's patriarchal and creepy
Not a red flag but unless he’s buying, he can shut it down
Hello I would like to know what financial problems you want me to solve Maybe Student loans, Rent, Phone bills, credit card bills and car etc No problem so what is the total of each bills? Please be open with me and send me a direct message asap?
Of course not. It's very manly imo
Depends on how long yall have been dating. A week? Hell no that's creepy. 3+years and he's saying baby look this would look pretty on you? That can be sweet
No but I like being dressed up like a doll 🤷🏻♀️
Think it depends on the dynamic and how it comes across, but I think it’s cute.
I’m nee here looking for someone to chat with
