Guys: If a woman pays for her own lifestyle, has her own car, and pays her own bills... what are you actually bringing to the table besides stress?

Companionship obviously. I feel you've lost sight of the point of a relationship
Exactly thanks ☺️
Except most men don’t actually provide companionship after the first year of a relationship so… the question still stands
I’d hope we’re giving each other love and all that? Sounds lovely tbh, an actual independent partner
Are you sure that’s the only thing?
All relationships are stressful at times, that’s part of the deal. But you get to be a team and face this stuff together
Thanks 😊
Yeh and so can women. So what? It's pointless for people be in a relationship? It doesn't seem to be stopping people. Here's the thing, you date someone and if it doesn't work out you break up and try the next one. You do it until you find someone that fits. That's what dating is. The problem is people that have had none or very few relationships tend to view it as a societal issue rather than a personal one and scare themselves away from the dating scene. Which is fine. Nobody NEEDS a partner. But your reality is different from many others.
"what do you bring to the table", the standard call of adults that haven't worked out relationships yet
I think OP is just pointing out that most men don’t actually know what being in a true relationship means
Which is ironic considering asking people what they bring to the table is exactly why single people are single. Always concerned with what they can get, not what they can give. Also MOST men are in stable long term relationships by the time they get to our age bracket
Based on all the women I know in our age bracket in those “long term relationships” they’re not stable at all and quite unhappy relationships. Mostly because the men don’t know how to be in a relationship when all those things are stripped back
