I have imitrex pills as my emergency relief
Take some Excedrin and lay down in a dark room. No TV. No music.
I tend to put my feet in a bowl of hot water and take a triptan. But I dont have them as much as I used to thank god

A Triptan as an abortive (almotripan for me) and a preventative (topiramate for me) cut it down from 5x weekly lasting hours to 2-5x monthly most times contained within the hour

Prevention. Figure out what triggers them. For me it's usually stress, and things like pecans and almonds. So I reduced my stress and cut out those specific nuts

Imitrex .and propranolol for a maintenance med. Fuck nurtec snd injectables to the fullest. I also drink caffeine/eat something salty in a pinch. Sll of these things work. And i say that as someone's who has migraines to thd point of vomiting. If it gets to ER level, request the migraine cocktail.
Acupuncture is pretty good for reducing pain and migraines
