That is absolutely false. We want to continue working and paying taxes as we always have done. We just want our taxes paying for beneficial programs like healthcare and food and shelter. Not war and ballrooms and painting fucking reflecting ponds.

Im glad you got to have a family that was able to provide you with those opportunities and are now working making a decent living for yourself. Yes, it is unfortunate that many people are struggling and arent afforded those similar opportunities. Sadly I to am one of those people. Everyday is a struggle but I refuse to give up no matter how many times life kicks me down and have accepted that im here now because of the choices I made as well. But regardless im proud of you and making the most of the opportunities you were given.

They dont necessarily want hand outs but itd be nice if we made things more accessible. Healthcare and education are things that need to be looked over and more more cost effective/realistic. Sending kids into college after telling them what to do and then being like yeah go pay hundreds of thousands to decide what you wanna do for the rest of your life... isnt it. Then these bulshit entry level positions are a joke. We need change but its unlikely to happen.

tbh I just want citizens to be have a basic level of care and dependability from their gov. it makes it a lot easier to grow and accomplish more when you're not fighting to survive. I feel people will have way more opportunities to improve their lives and will contribute more to their communities and country if socialism is embraced some people might not chose to advance themselves if they are taken care of by the gov, but it seems negligible and almost completely unnoteworthy compared to the benefits

I agree education should be free an healthcare should be if at all much cheaper and willing to work with people not to make money for the company. However its thanks to our current government system that you have your own business and the freedoms we treasure so much now. If socialism takes the reigns how long till all the freedoms and liberties we value so much be stripped from us. Farmer will refuse to work businesses will close the rich will flee.
