Always blaming the women.

by WhimsiGothRed · 6 hearts

Nah youre just autistic. Aspergers isn't a thing anymore. You should look into why. Named after a horrible dude. Its a good thing

by Witchyemostoner · 0 hearts

I was just educated on this as someone who was originally diagnosed Asperger’s myself and was horrified

by WitchBitch🍃 · 4 hearts

Aspergers isn't a valid diagnosis anymore. It was assimilated in with ASD.

by azure_means · 4 hearts

Sir or madame, you're projecting. It's you who doesn't understand regular people and how dating works. Sincerely, someone who's dated multiple autistic men

by WhippedNcreamy · 0 hearts

I dont think i could ever! Unless maybe high functioning. Otherwise id feel like i was taking advantage which is creepy and not my thing.

by azure_means · 0 hearts

You're projecting.

by Galvanized · 4 hearts

You have to keep meeting women until you finally find the special one who gets you. It's tough, but it's worth it.

by fuchsia_excitement · 4 hearts

no one even uses the term aspergers anymore so update your lingo first

by purple_fishery · 0 hearts

it IS in the DSM 5 manual under Autism Spectrum Disorder. why don't YOU get your lingo straight and stop undermining mental disabilities or just go study psychiatry? otherwise shut the fuck up.

by fuchsia_excitement · 1 heart

you know the dsm 5 is over a decade old? I said they don't use that term anymore. outdated. you're so fucking dumb.

by HARRY POTTER✮🦇 · 4 hearts

why is everyone being such a dick in the comments

by magenta_carry · 0 hearts

Because it’s the way people are see people think I am whining but I am just speaking my truth.

by Galvanized · 0 hearts

Autistic people are literally always treated like this. I have a lower opinion of humanity because I've seen that more than once.

by grey_laughter · 3 hearts

Skill issue

by orange_vaulting · 3 hearts

Asperger's isn't really a thing anymore though

by Will_Endowed · 3 hearts

They don't call it that anymore because Dr. Asperger did atrocious shit to the people especially those that were diagnosed with the condition. It is autism spectrum disorder.

by magenta_carry · 0 hearts

I grew up with it called that so it’s just what I continue calling it back when I was diagnosed it wasn’t even part of the autism spectrum yet

by grey_dust · 1 heart

Aspergers was always part of the spectrum... it was how nazis determined if an autistic person was "smart enough" not to kill.

by lavender_wait · 2 hearts

That's definitely a you problem

by Bunny baby 🐰🙈 · 0 hearts

That was completely unnecessary how rude

by DaMaskedShitter · 2 hearts

Lots of people in the thread are cool with you being forever alone. We are doomed as a society

by Rellik · 2 hearts

I have the same thing man I hear ya

by enfant terrible · 2 hearts

They "understand" it just fine when it helps you land six figures lol

by deadwhore · 2 hearts

women can also have autism

by magenta_carry · 0 hearts

Never said they cant

by purple_fishery · 1 heart

but then comes the double standard that it's ok for women to be autistic and still score a guy but not the same if it's the other way around. apparently it's ok for women to be mentally challenged and be taken advantage of, am I right, MEN?? 😒

by deadwhore · 1 heart

There are women who face the same struggles as you and insisting there isn’t anyone who could love and understand you is why you lack connection

by peachypop · 2 hearts

It's not that they don't understand it, it's that they don't want to deal with it.

by purple_fishery · 0 hearts

and they say women are the most patient of the two sexes. how ironic.

by peachypop · 0 hearts

So what? That doesn't mean women have to put up with whatever because they have more patience. Wanting a balanced mutually supportive relationship is not a character flaw

by MothWithTeeth · 2 hearts

I was diagnosed with Asperger at 15 before the dsm-5 came out. Now its just high-function autism or lvl 1 autism. I still call it Asperger because that's what i knew it as before it changed

by purple_fishery · 1 heart

and you're not wrong. I've always called it Asperger's syndrome. I'm also on the spectrum. no matter how you call it, if it's in the DSM 5 BOOK, then it's a valid disability (unless you're a Keyboard doctor like some on here who thinks they can "correct" others and say "oh, no. nobody calls it that anymore. get your facts straight.". they're total arrogant bigoted idiots).

by CynicalIdealist · 2 hearts

Aspergers is an outdated term and it now just comes under the autism spectrum. I'm autistic too, and while there's still a great many folk very ignorant of neurodiversity, I've seen a great increase in people knowing and have been lucky to have had a few great relationships, even though they can be a serious struggle between eternally feeling like the outsider and a lot of unhealthy coping strategies I built up to deal with things and stress. Don't go totally convincing yourself the blame is on women. There's a great may who appreciate an autistic person's sincerity, as well as plenty great other neurodivergent folk that can understand you so much more. My current partner is neurodivergent to some extent but not diagnosed, with some traits being far stronger than mine, and others (especially socially) being far less of an issue.

Stop whining

by white_barbeque · 2 hearts

It's not hard to understand. It's very common. You just need therapy to get over your other issues

by NedFlandersSimp · 1 heart

I hear you. I’m bipolar and while it doesnt affect my life too much since it’s controlled— nobody cares and once they hear the word “bipolar” they say it’s fine then POOF. They never talk to me again.
