All ancient cultures were spiritual yet ate meat and animal products respectfully. The animal produce industry today treats animals extremely poorly and that is immoral. But the concept of eating Animal products alone in and of itself is not inherently immoral. It is a matter of respect. Animals hunt and eat each other or other living beings, that is the way of life. Do only herbivores have spirits? Are carnivores not spiritual? Saying that so many cultures are not spiritual just because they're not vegan is extremely disrespectful to all those cultures.
