You’ve probably already watched Frieren(I can’t spell it) which itself is not a romance anime, but the concept of elf and love is always tragic because of the lifespan difference

Dororo has a nice little love story in the middle, but as for the rest of the anime it's gonna blow your mind. Definitely recommend.
