I got my shit together almost a decade ago, but part of me still misses the couch cushion "bed" that got me through a couple rough years. I swear it was more comfortable than my current mattress. Even with a nice bed I am still tempted to set up the old floor mattress. Guess it reminds me of simpler times and my first real taste of freedom.
not having a lot of stuff doesn't necessarily mean you don't "have it together" i have a room like that and it's just bc i'm a minimalist
