And if there's proof of him being one then that is terrible and bad, however on a wider scale, would they advocate for putting in policies to get paedophiles off from harsher sentences? Are they the ones who want to rehabilitate everyone and are they the ones who despite not supporting AI for other purposes, support realistic AI (or deepfake) videos of children because paedophiles deserve an outlet for their desires? Ect

I'll elaborate. Conservatives, in general, besides maybe a certain brand of 'just forgive everyone' Christians want harsher sentences on offending paedophiles. Leftists, in general, support rehabilitation. Some even want to abolish prison. Therapy and reinegration and restorative justice ect ect. Naturally this will eventually extent towards child rapists, it already has to a degree. Not to mention, the 'having the death penalty is bad because it can prosecute homosexuals!!' type of progressives are common. That's how it'll start, by defending their 'rights,' not by being fond of them. Historically many homosexual progressive movements and groups had paedophiles (or 'boy lovers'), the only reason they were shunned was because homosexuals didn't have rights or social equality at the time and thought paedophiles would have been bad for their image. That's all. A couple years in the future with all the 'queer acceptance,' there would be no need to consider paedophiles tainting the image…
