ok so, i like to categorize it like this, OG legend status, im talking abt GOATS like Tupac, Biggie, classic shit yk? genre defining stuff. THENN we got modern legends like Kanye, (MF DOOM is a classic legend, but he was underground, so i put him in modern) Nicki is another modern legend (she completely changed what hiphop would look like for women in the game). these modern legends REdefined the genre w flow, aesthetics, and much more (depends who ur talking abt) srry this is long asf 😭😭😭😭😭

chill, bruh, i don't make the rules on who influences the genre for generations to come. Nicki HAS changed the game for women in hiphop. we got generations of female rappers who credit her as inspiration TO THIS DAY. her flow literally lives on in the young girls breaking into the scene these days. i get u don't like her, but she has big-time influence in the industry, and that's undeniable.
