Of all the things that SHOULDNT sit well with you as a Christian, the Halloween tradition is what makes you uneasy?

As Christians we can choose not to celebrate the more evil and demonic aspects of the day but also use it as an opportunity to reach out to both the lost and the believer alike. We do not have to put up scary decorations or dress up in evil costumes, but, if you live in a neighborhood frequented by trick or treaters, hand out tracts along with candy. Yes, things like that may end up in the trash, but reaching a lost person can always begin with a simple act even on what has become a more and more evil day. Walk about your neighborhood and connect with people, speak the gospel. I suggest reading 1st Corinthians. There Paul gives us instructions on how to live amongst the lost without getting lost ourselves.
