Another side note, you overlook that you can take unpaid leave to get your 4 weeks off and with the higher wages in US still come out better off than a European counterpart. Its similar concept to minimum wage for waiters, its shit but its irrelevant because tipping still makes them earn bucket loads more than if they had a set hourly wage appropriate to their skill level.
