The argument that raising the minimum wage would radically increase inflation is a tacit admission that capitalist owners steal wealth from consumers and labor to entrench their own wealth.

Read a book on economics, please.

If you're so well read on economics, make the recommendations

Let inflation make the minimum wage irrelevant over time. People will cry if you get rid of it. Right now even the local McDonald's is paying more than it because that is what they see the labor as being worth.

Why are y'all communists so retarded

Sellers are going to sell at the highest price possible, regardless if they raise wages or not

by CosmicChaos · 1 heart

And consumers will buy goods at prices they deem are reasonable, otherwise the goods go unsold, warehoused, and costing their owners money. Your economics are as shit as your human values.

by Vixen1121 · 1 heart

Was really going for agreeing with you dumbass. If they raised wages, it wouldn't dramatically increase the price, because like you said like an asshole, it's not good for goods to go unsold. Your reading comprehension is about as shit as your fucked up attitude

OP just argues with everyone regardless of what they say. He has pre-typed responses and is a retard.

Capitalism requires an oppressed underclass to function. This is by design and is evil.

Capitalism is simply the idea of a free market but anything beyond that isn't a result of capitalism it's a result of the very system that the capitalist exists. It's only as corrupt as the system.

by BrotherLem · 0 hearts

No, an economic underclass is an intended feature of the system.

by PKMNtrainer · 0 hearts

I don't see how that's in opposition of what I said. Do you think that capitalism can exist in a system that discourages corruption?

by bbydllbugeatr🦇 · 0 hearts

the ironic part of it all is that, while wages remain stagnant, the cost of living continues to rise anyway, so what harm would higher wages even make??

At least the gas prices are low

The real question here is despite the obvious reasons that almost everyone thinks it will, why do you think it won't?
