You should prioritize yourself above others. How can you be there for others if you can’t even be there for yourself. Also be with people who make you happy. If you have to put aside your happiness for someone sounds like you just shouldn’t be together cus 🤷🏻♀️ what’s the point.
If the man isn't making her happy...why shouldn't she?
