A lot of women seem to think weight lifting will immediately make them look masculine (which is a social construct to begin with. Masculinity doesn't have a specific look). In reality women NEED to lift weights. Otherwise we become more susceptible to broken bones as we age. We lose bone density as we get older and weight lifting prevents that bone density loss.
