That's because they're a scifi concept Asimov came up with to play explore the limits of AI / robot behaviour in fiction, not a real scientific principle applicable in reality
It's based on behaviors humans present and simulates and takes them to their outcome based on their initial context and educated guessing into the next potential behavior within reality (like all thought experiments, including books)
