3mi?? jeeze. depends where she is walking and if she is volunteering to walk. Even if she wants to walk and it's safe I'd likely go with her, drive her, ask her to share her location, or make regular check ins until she gets where she's going. I've walked ~2mi around 10:40pm alone. But only because I felt very safe
