One thing that pisses me off is people that will lie to keep a truth alive. Yes BLM has done shady stuff, you don’t have to fabricate anything to make it seem worst. If they’re a shady company, let BLM show that through their actions and words. I actually took the time to sit down and do research on them so I don’t assume or make shit up about them whether or not in defense or offense.

Um black colleges were originally for black Americans after slavery because they weren’t allowed in colleges white people attended. Everyone is welcome to register to an HBCU and they have non black students. You’re exactly who I’m talking about in my post. And if white people wanted their own tv channel (even though they don’t really need one when they’re already all over all forms of media with the most influence) I really wouldn’t mind. It’s not for me so why be upset about it? And I’d hope the majority doesn’t care either. Most racial groups and cultures segregate like that and for different reasons that are historically valid.

Black lives absolutely do matter but I despise white guilt in white people and I divert most of my attention to anti-Islamic genocide and acts of war because I feel Americans are too self indulgent and self centered about people and issues that are at their doorstep, and I feel like actually being racist against black people is not remotely as accepted as the cavalier and dehumanizing way we treat arabs. I agree. Personally I think BLM should focus mostly on progressing the black community. Sure there are racist cops that should be called out but the first step to change is within before any fight for change outside. Now I have looked up what community work BLM and I had to do a lot of digging on their website just to find it. Should be one of the first things advertised on their website. And I found one scholarship program they had that doesn’t seem currently active today.
If you're really interested in community oriented activism that's centered around black people you should check out the Uhuru movement, they engage in a lot of the same functions that the Black Panthers used to be known for and have set out to provide economic alternatives for black people.
They were in the news like a year or so ago because they were very critical of the Russia/Ukraine war and US foreign policy, and they were raided and arrested for speech violations that were ultimately ruled unconstitutional (I believe) because the government couldn't make an actual case that they were taking orders from the Kremlin as was alleged.
