When you ask an atheist what’s the purpose of life and they say respond to be happy I hope they realize how dumb they actually sound
What is the meaning to life for a dog? Its a nonsense question. Reality is what reality is and life is an incredibly special rare part of it. It doesn't need some objective "meaning" behind it. My focus is on doing good for those around me and trying to do what I can to lessen the damage of the 6th mass extinction our remarkable but oftentimes silly and conceited species is causing.
Why is that dumb? You can choose to live your life any number of ways.
So what’s the purpose to life according to you?
To follow and worship God and live life and this world better then you before you came into it
Leave god out of it and everything else is still applicable for an atheist. You don’t need god’s word to know you shouldn’t be an asshole and treat people well.
