Hi. Microbiologist here. Please go get tested even if you dont see any bites. Bats carry many diseases, including rabies. And rabies is 100% lethal if symptoms start. The chances of that particular one being a carrier may be low but its never 0.
Hi, I'm from the UK and we only have 2 species of bat that carry rabies, and from what the bat looked like, and where I am within the UK, I'm doubtful that it could've been one of those species

It was a bit mad at first as all I could hear were weird scratching noises and chirps, but then I found him behind a box near the window and helped him out! I was worried once I found him he would fly around like crazy but the lil dude was pretty chill

Oh don't worry it didn't bite me or anything, it was kind of close to the window and I heard it kind of chirping, I grabbed a little box to move it to the window ledge and he was chirping out to some other bats too, and then he flew away, it was cool!!
