As a woman that men constantly hit on whenever I leave my house, I will say yes. But with that said, I don't know how things would be if I didn't look how I look. So... I could be wrong. I also tell all of them that I'm not interested or I flash the engagement ring that my bestie brought me for my bday for that exact reason.

I avoid men at all costs when it comes to intimate or romantic relationships...I like women lol.

Thankfully I was born liking both so I'm with you on that. I'll never date or be in a relationship with another man

Being attractive gives you a bigger pool, so sure. Many of those people will be shallow though, like the person that told you that. So is it a quantity vs quality thing?

Of course we do.

Privilege is a myth.

Of course. Thats kind of a given.

Attractiveness comes in many forms. Ive dated the most gorgeous women and been more bored then in math class, ive also dated women who's personality shines so bright its blinding. I have learned the latter is more fulfilling. Now Ive only met 2 that were both. They're one in a million, I guess I'm just fortunate, but foolish at the same time as I vowed to never marry at young age. Now im 48 and most likely gonna die alone, lol. So there you have it. Shot myself in the frigging foot with a nail gun.

Attraction is all subjective. Some men just want a hole to fall in and some women just want to be filled. Being attractive doesn’t mean we’re shallow and being unattractive’ doesn’t mean we’re easy or undesirable.

I need this to apply to lesbians. 😂

Does it not??

I don't think so. The truth is, especially when it comes to women, most of you are hot. Being hot isn't really enough. It might get you more FIRST dates but other than that unless the personality is there to match I don't think attractive people have any easier a time than anyone else

I'm a woman who dates women so I feel shallow because aren't all women supposed to be hot?😂

by Backdrop_Return · 0 hearts

I think maybe I phrased that wrong 🤣. What I mean are there are too many attractive women for being attractive to offer that much of an advantage on it's own

Okay! I understand now!

Do attractive people have more of a “privilege” when it comes to being picky about who they date? Someone recently told me that because I’m "hot," I can afford to be selective about who I date. It got me thinking, is that actually a thing? Like, do attractive people have more options and therefore get to be pickier, or is being selective something everyone should feel entitled to, regardless of looks? Just curious what other people think.

Everyone can be picky, attractive people just have more options.
