Is it wrong to get on birth control behind ur partner back? Especially if he wants a baby and doesn't want u to get on birth control?

get on long term birth control that he can’t tamper with, and leave him when you can

No, if he isn’t going to respect your decision over your body. My ex was actively trying to put a child in me that I didn’t want. I made it my business to sneak into cvs for planb on my shift to avoid being asked why I stopped at the pharmacy “when we don’t need anything” NEVER let a man dictate what you do with your body. Especially one who won’t respect it.

Your body your choice. But id highly consider you to evaluate if this relationship is something you want if youre to this point

by Meow69 · 3 hearts

Yes. You need to be on the same page…or you need to break up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes. You have every right not to want a child but he deserves to be a dad if he wants to. So it should be his choice. You or fatherhood

We talked about it before, i respect him wanting children but the time isnt right. I asked him to be patient, I even canceled my first appointment (which I told him about) but now I want to make another maybe this time not tell him idk since he isnt giving me the same respect back

No. It's my body. I don't have to risk getting pregnant if I don't want to.

You’re a piece of shit. It’s equivalent to a woman wanting a child and a man getting a vasectomy. You’re wasting their time and you should kill yourself.

Hell yes clock it 🤏🏻🤏🏻🤏🏻

girl ignore that angry hateful man. people don’t understand the myriad of reasons these situations come about and just wanna abuse people on the internet to feel big

by ANGELBYTES · 3 hearts

if you two have been trying for one, then yes it is wrong 😭 but if it’s only him trying to get a baby without your agreement then not only is it fine but you also need to break up probably

by Anonnymously · 3 hearts

NO its not wrong at all. Its your body and uterus ,you have all the power to decide whatever YOU want.

by Spoopy NBi Goth · 3 hearts

Your body, your choice. If he wants a baby and you don't, that needs to be discussed, and perhaps the relationship ended. Forcing childbirth on you is not ethical

by CynicalIdealist · 3 hearts

Not necessarily but I wouldn't advise leading him on like that. You're under no obligation to have a child just for his sake, but best situation would be to separate as its clear you want different things from life.

by Cargirly · 3 hearts

It's not wrong that you get on birth control. Keeping that piece of info from your partner is though if he wants children. It's totally fine for you to not want children and it's totally fine for him to want them. It is wrong from both sides to force or trick the other partner into a life they don't want though. So COMMUNICATE. Tell him you're going on birthcontrol and that it's your decision. Then let him chose if he wants to stay in a possibly childless relationship or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

by Sweetestpea765 · 3 hearts

Then leave him! Why stay in a relationship where nobody gets what they want and you want to lie and deceive them to get what you want???

by DiscoTaco · 2 hearts

Ma'am, you probably gotta break up with this dude

by PureCountryGirl · 2 hearts

Tell him no I don't want children period and if you can't handle that bye don't waste your time with a guy that doesn't want the same as you

by Truthhurtsbtch · 0 hearts

I agree. Thanks

by spoiiledbratx · 2 hearts

No. Do what you want with your body, and ideally find someone who will leave that decision up to you.

by Truthhurtsbtch · 1 heart

I agree. Thank u

by Tybalt RJ · 2 hearts

If you can’t communicate with your partner that us a separate issue. Not wanting to get pregnant or have kids is an individual choice and niether men or women should think their choice overrides someone not wanting to have a kid.

by blueroses1626 · 2 hearts

If you’re hiding this from him leave him. If he pressures you or argues with you hes not worth it. It should be consensual between both of you.

Yes it's 100% wrong That shows that you really don't love your partner and he should throw your ass to the curb

by 🌈Lioness🌈 · 2 hearts

It's YOUR body, NOT HIS. You can do whatever you want with it. But if you never want children, leave him so that he can find someone who does. You'd be doing him and yourself a great disservice if you stay in the relationship. But tbh, I wouldn't want to stay with him anyway. He's legit trying to force you into pregnancy. This should've definitely been a conversation during the dating phase.

No, but if you’re married, you two definitely need to have that conversation

Its not wrong to get on birth control. Its your body. But it IS wrong to hide it from him. If he wants kids and you don't then you all aren't right for each other and you should stop wasting time

by who knowss · 2 hearts

Yes. You should be on any medication you want, but if he thinks you are both trying that's fucking cruel

by Blue_whales11 · 2 hearts

Yes. Who are you to deny him his children.

by CynicalIdealist · 1 heart

If he was the one to be carrying the child, giving birth to it and taking sole care of it, sure you may be right but why should she be obligated to get pregnant when its clear he's the one that wants the child, not her. I'd definitely advise breaking up though as they seem to have incompatible aims in life.
