Taking a half hour plus to respond to someone during the non-busy evening hours is ridiculous

Lmao if you can't understand that others have busy lives simply because your life is boring, I'm not surprised that people don't respond to you

*cough* needy *cough*

Non busy for you, that doesn't mean it isn't busy for everyone

by pepperjellie · 5 hearts

Evening is my busy time. I’m cooking and taking care of my dogs.

by WhimsiGothRed · 4 hearts

Meh. Im not glued to my phone 24/7. Even in my "non busy evening hours" I like to partake in hobbies.

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

And I think that's good. Many women I see ARE glued to their phones 24/7

by Blue_carr · 4 hearts

Maybe they’re not that interested in you or they’re busy? Just because you’re not busy doesn’t make them not busy

People have lives outside of their phones

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

I'm aware. Thank you. I do as well. All I'm saying, is if two people are in like a talking stage, or there's interest or early dating or whatever it may be, and one of the people can't be assed to reply a little sooner than that? When all they're doing is scrolling TikTok or watching TV? That's shit. A real life human being who is for some reason into you is less important than some mindless slop on a social media feed? Yeah I think that's poor behavior and would question even talking to them ever again really.

by BunnyLady · 1 heart

Sounds like you're definitely incompatible with people who get busy and stop paying attention to their phones

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

I don't think it's so much that. I'd much rather be away from the phone and social media too. I think that's great. All I'm desiring is some genuine mutual interest from someone. The conversations in the evening are just part of that. I guess it's not the best indicator sure. But I just want to feel like it's reciprocated or else I'm going to wonder why I'm even bothering.

by Skyview555 · 3 hearts

They could be working, talking on the phone, busy with friends and family, watching a movie, making dinner, driving, no wifi or just doesn't want to talk to you anymore

by Endo_Life · 3 hearts

Someone's needy

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

Not so much needy. I wouldn't put it that way. I just like when it feels like the desire is mutual. So many people are just out here using people and stringing them along because they're bored. It's an irritating personality to have.

by Endo_Life · 3 hearts

People get busy. Just because you aren't, doesn't mean they're using you. Be careful out there.

by Certifiedstoner · 3 hearts

I work in the 'non busy' evening hours.

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

Then that's not the kind of person I'm talking about.

by Certifiedstoner · 2 hearts

It could be. Bro idk, if the person isnt replying fast enough for you, then you might just have to talk to someone else

by This is fine · 3 hearts

You need to get a hobby

by NoPicshereee · 3 hearts

… what are these “non-busy” evening hours

by NiniCollective · 3 hearts

Maybe they have busier evenings than you. Or maybe you're just not that interesting to talk to for them.

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

I mean clearly lol. Just a good indicator to not invest any more effort in.

by Book Nerd · 2 hearts

How do you know that person isn’t busy?

by Clean_puhleaz · 2 hearts

Not everyone prioritize texting and its not even healthy to do so.

by hatemen · 2 hearts

you're not entitled towards someone's time. people need to be alone or maybe do something they enjoy by themselves. this is draining behavior and we all need to learn to be by ourselves like right now

by Little_Mis · 2 hearts

Some people are busy during the evening. People have kids some people work evenings, some people have loved ones in the hospital, etc

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

Right and I understand that. I'm more implying when both parties are not that busy.

by Little_Mis · 2 hearts

Gotcha. Maybe they got sucked into an episode of their favourite show or a good movie. I don't know. I get it cause i hate waiting too but i also try to be understanding.

by Cold-Kittty · 2 hearts

Never trust someone who's on their phone all the time but takes hours to reply to you.

by an_apparition · 0 hearts

just curious, how are people not trustworthy if they do that :?

by The Black Susie · 2 hearts

Is she a reader? It could take me over a hour to respond when I am.

by ToesLuvr · 1 heart

I'm not actually sure lol maybe!

by The Black Susie · 0 hearts

That’s very probable

by ToesLuvr · 0 hearts

Apparently the reading thing is popular. Someone else DMd me and said that too 😅

by volendrung · 2 hearts

you're mad over not getting a reply for HALF AN HOUR? get a grip

by ToesLuvr · 3 hearts

When I know she's just sitting there not doing anything laying on her bed or on the couch or whatever? Yeah, I kinda expect it to not take 30 minutes between replies in our conversation

by volendrung · 0 hearts

i, personally, have zero patience for a dude who thinks idle conversation should take priority over, like, watching an episode of something or cleaning my kitchen

by grey_dust · 1 heart

Is somebody who plays video games, has a family, Works overnight hours, and sleeps, half an hour is nothing

by Lil Weeb · 1 heart

Ok but are we talking about people we know personally or people on here?

by orange_good · 1 heart

Generally if someone is taking long and I don't mean 1 or 2 messages, I just take it that they aren't really interested, but also if they aren't trying to hold a conversation, why bother.

by schizoid_postn · 1 heart

There are different time zones lol and you literally have no clue what is going on in people's lives
