Or you could say we are under a far right regime that is attacking the notion of truth itself, is beginning wars that will destabilize the economy, is building a surveillance/police state, is ending all useful government programs while increasing funding for masked paramilitary goons who don’t abide by due process or the 4th amendment. Our leaders regularly engage in blatant, naked corruption and insider trading schemes, and the quality of life continues to decline for everyone who isn’t wealthy
And 4 years ago half the country would have said the same about Biden. And before that Trump again, and before that Obama. Politicians only care about staying in office and will appease whatever businesses, people, governments, religions, etc that will enable them to do so
