Whats a red flag or warning sign that your ex had that you didn’t think was one until later on? Mine was my ex warning me their mum was superstitious. Superstitious meaning a flat earther, same as him 👀

The sooner people realise it is the better

I had a gf who was rude to a waiter on our first date. I ignored it, thinking it was out of character, only to realise it was her whole character

He told me I was as tight as his best friends booty hole. His best friend is a man…

by RBF Life · 1 heart

Well he's not my ex but his temper was a red flag and his lack of respect for his mother was also a red flag, and I ignored both.

He told me that in past relationships, when he was worried that things were headed towards a breakup, he would start talking to new girls and getting to know them so he had a replacement girl ready. “I’m telling you this because that’s the kind of man I *used* to be, I hated myself for it. I’ll never do that because I love you and respect you too much.” I should have RANNNNN.

Oh! And another one, same man. I told him that being yelled at caused really bad panic attacks because growing up, my parents were verbally (and sometimes physically) abusive. “If I raise my voice it’s because I’m passionate and I care.” He said the most cruel things to me with a raised voice. Funny how that works.

Yehhh I had similar thing with my ex, the same flat earther. He had a temper and we’d argue all the time, more often than not, over me just getting upset at something small. I’d try to push past it on my own but he’d get angry I was upset, then we’d fight, then 20 mins after he’d be angry at me because I haven’t cheered up yet. 😕

He constantly compared me unfavorably to his ex

Outbursts of anger (not at me then). Acting different around different people. Being messy and not cleaning up after himself very well. Blaming other people for things and not taking accountability. Always making himself look like a hero or good person. Smoking to much weed and partying a lot. Laziness I took for being exhausted.

That she said she had to go break up with her fiancé the morning after we hooked up…

My ex \ father of my kids was very narcissistic, I didn't realize just *HOW* narcissistic he was until I left him. He was always talking about, "oh what about me. How will this affect me and my reputation. How are your actions going to hurt me?" Like bitch what kind of reputation do you have besides being an asshole to everyone you come in contact with!

by magenta_loyalty · 1 heart

Not only that he spent any extra money he had on w**d and alcohol not even his kids (sad thing is he never knew his own kids clothing or shoe size even though it was a frequently repeated thing by me.

by 🌈Lioness🌈 · 1 heart

All his ex's were crazy and his BM wouldn't let him see his kids. Turns out, he was the problem.

by Thorn🌹 · 1 heart

Looking back his frequent head aches and nausea were definitely signs of drug withdrawals.

This is the sorta stuff you should find out if you date to get to know someone instead of superficial stuff

by Boring_Orange · 0 hearts

Tbf he was my first proper relationship. And I’d never met a real flat earther before, so never thought it would be something I needed to ask.

More globehead propaganda on Hush. Look, if the Earth was a sphere, how do you explain that all the water in the oceans doesn't fall out the sides? Globeheads are too stupid to even realise an obvious thing like that.

by Boring_Orange · 0 hearts

Do you not believe in the concept of gravity? And a globe is a sphere, and spheres only have one side…? I could respect that they believed in ‘dome theory’. What I couldn’t respect was them looking down on me in disgust for believing the earth was round. I’d never said anything to them about the whole thing, apart from not agreeing with it myself lol

I'm confused on your take, what I meant was don't be a stereotype and date for looks and actually find out his beliefs and desires in life to avoid disaster, but usual basic conveyer belt, accountability dodging reply

by Boring_Orange · 0 hearts

Honestly looking back I’m confused on wtf the reply is I’m responding to. What have I said that implies I’m dating based on just looks?
