I make twice as much money as my husband. What percentage of the housework should be my responsibility?

Depends on how long you work. Even if you make twice as much as him, if you can make it working 20 hours/week and he works 40/week, unless he's got a really easy job, you should be doing more in the house because you have the time to. A lot of other factors go into this too, but the biggest contributing factor is time spent working and how intensive the job is.

Has nothing to do with how much you make. It depends on how much you work. If you both work 40 hours a week, then house work should be split evenly.

Its wild to me that anyone can get married and not have figured out how to live together comfortably yet. Way too soon.

Finances have nothing to do with household stuff. It is not a competition, it’s a partnership.

50/50. You want to be equal, right?

All of it. Then you should get on your knees and swallow his load

I’m the only one working, that’s one reason why we’re getting divorced. I have to ask him to do anything and I’m exhausted.

Well with how men act with money your housework should be none then. Your bringing home the money , so he does all the house work and child care even if he does bring home some money and works too. Thats how it goes right? That how men treat women . Not all I know that but a lot of them do.

None. And you deserve to get your clit licked when you come home

depends on how much of the household expenses you pay for iguess. if its 70/30 then housework should be 30/70 to make up for it. same with any other ratio

So if he works 80 hours a week but she makes more, he should do more chores?

Half according to all the woman out there that don't contribute at all financially. Zero money and they still expect help with the house work after their husband comes home after a full day of work. So I guess by that math you shouldn't expect any more than half I'd say. Realistically I would factor in job difficulty, schedule, and any other factor that would cause exhaustion. I don't think how much money you earn should have any bearing on the subject. Apparently it means nothing with every other woman out there and 90% don't contribute financially at all and still want their man to help with house work. I wonder, if your husband was making more would you ask the same question on his behalf? I doubt it

Half.

Let's say he does 75% of the housework but you don't like how he does it because it's not your way might be sloppy or how you like it. But if he does 50% and it's done your way and how you like it. Which would you be satisfied with or is more important to you?

All of it lol
