I’m engaged to someone with ADHD, I’ve also dated someone schizophrenic before but don’t recommend that unless they take their medication seriously

yes, everyone is worth a chance. whether it works out or not, I wouldn't be able to predict. Some of the most well put together people are the worst and the most downtrodden are the best.

Relationship highly depend on trust, communication, and, compromise. Solving problems relies on knowledge, execution, and consistency. I would worry less about other people, and just focus on the fundamentals. How you carry yourself is more important than if anyone accepts your or not.

You lost me at BPD

by WhimsiGothRed · 1 heart

Depends on how theyre managing these things. You can be dealing with these things or not and thats gonna impact you. The only one that actually made me say "probably not" was being a mom.

As someone who has been abused for over a decade by someone with undiagnosed BPD, it’s a hard no for me. The other things aren’t really an issue and something you can work through/proving you are already working through

When you put it all together like that it sounds like you need a therapist and not a relationship right now. No offense.

by That_one2206 · 0 hearts

None taking I've been single for 2 years now and I'm no where ready to be in a relationship but I was just curious if men would or not

by unholymenace · 0 hearts

It’s less about your problems and more about how I feel like you would be taken advantage of. You don’t deserve that whether physically or mentally no matter what your past is like.

by That_one2206 · 0 hearts

Well I hope I don't give anyone the advantage to hurt me again but life's nothing but a gamble and it's scary knowing the depth a person will go in the name of love

absolutely not as someone who is that myself, gtfo to therapy (me to me pls)!

by green_barrier · 0 hearts

Personally no, I've got too much of my own shit going on. We would just spiral. Adding to someone's issues is never a good idea.

This is an awful lot of red flags but everyone deserves a chance

Nope. That's the kind of trauma that becomes weaponized if left unresolved
