The Lindsay Clancy case is honestly one of the best examples to figure out if a men has empathy or not.

It's good proof that women are never to be trusted and should never hold power

What do you think of the husbands fault?

by Nabxh · 2 hearts

It's not his fault that she meticulous strangled her own babies. Anyone who says so is actually out of their mind

So there’s nothing wrong with ignoring your wife’s concerns and cries for help? There’s nothing wrong with googling how to turn off the airbags in her car? There’s nothing wrong with leaving the kids with her when she has communicated that she doesn’t trust herself with the kids, but you still leave her alone with them? That’s neglect at the very least. And let’s not forget his affair.

I have empathy for the children that are murdered by the person they trust most.

Woman here, Clancy deserves to be hung for what she did

by BlackwaterPark · 0 hearts

She deserved psychiatric treatment and support that would have prevented the tragedy

You hoes pick the dumbest hill to die on? Kiss your right to vote a bye-bye soon

by BlackwaterPark · 1 heart

The whole point is that it was a preventable tragedy that should have never gotten to that point. If she had the support and psychiatric treatment she needed this would have never happened. We collectively need to make sure that resources exist to better treat post partum depression and psychosis. But of course people love the spectacle of having someone to punish. Missing the point entirely.

Ding ding ding. Full points!

Because if he as empathy he'd want her executed? Or 🤨

by azure_means · 1 heart

Empathy for a child murderer? No. No one should have empathy for someone who strangled her three kids to death, one by one

by SciGuy · 1 heart

I have as much empathy for systemic issues that disproportionally impact women as women do for systemic issues that disproportionally impact men.

Willing to have a debate here. Maybe I'm in the minority here but, you can have empathy and still demand justice. Her husband was a complete POS and frankly he could have prevented this all together if he was any measure of a man. With that being said, she still murdered 3 children who had done absolutely nothing wrong and as such, still needs to have justice served to her. You can absolutely show empathy for the why while still demanding answers for the action.

Men don't have empathy for anyone

by KathTheMoody · 0 hearts

Correct- they either lack empathy or have suicidal empathy if they want a murderer to get it easy after killing three children. Unfortunately Massachusetts is a barbaric state so sadly the death penalty isn't an option

How so?

For me, it’s how anyone analyzes the situation whether you find her innocent or not. I see empathy on both sides of the argument but if you’re just using this case to hate on the opposite sex then yeah not cool.

by Anon2002 · 1 heart

-One woman kills her kids during a psychosis. -> men:“All women are evil and psychotic” = hating women -She repeatedly asked for help and voiced her concerns about not wanting to be alone with the kids. Called 911 over 50 times in a single week. And she was still not taken seriously. -> me:”If you cannot see how her environment failed her and contributed to the situation then that shows your lack of empathy” =/= hating men.

I never implied that conclusion means hating men. I just mean getting off topic of the situation to make it about why they hate men/women. You’re post isn’t giving that impression. I was just stating how I would see men that find her guilty. If he’s coming from a misogynist pov then I don’t want anything to do with him.

I actually think it's the worst case for that.
