I started with a tree of life, I made a magic system, I created a timeline of tectonic changes, I created gods, I created religions that stemmed from interpretations of those gods that were sometimes accurate and sometimes wildly inaccurate. I created political timelines that intertwine with separate social events, I fixed inconsistent timelines by making a mad god that creates pockets of time dilation, I created cultures from the ground up and culinary culture and the type of insects and the types of weapon tree they have and so on and so on but it never ACTUALLY feels like something until it's with another person. with an ai it's just... trying to please me. it's not actually roleplaying it's just predicting what it thinks the user would most likely respond to. when I taught the world to a friend and…
