I appreciate your response and discussion. While your experience my be great, unfortunately, the majority of people who get married end up having their lives ruined. Over half of them end in divorce and some of the ones that don't, end up staying in an abusive situation. Not only that, these days, alot of people have an FWB. Why should anyone commit themselves and work for things other people got for free? Fwbs aren't required to pay for anything, contribute in parenting, make decisions or do anything that requires team work, yet they still receive all of the attention and benefits. So I ask, why commit?
