I agree, if prisoners are dehumanized in prison they have zero chance of being rehabilitated and going back to a normal life
Disagree. People in jail are there cause they broke the laws of the community they were in. As such they were removed from that community until suck time as it's safe for the rest of the community for them to return. Having limited freedoms and permission is acceptable. HOWEVER! We should be doing WAY more for these people to rehabilitate them. We need to be actively working with the people to make them acceptable members of society. Not just putting them in a box to rot for who knows how long.
Just because someone broke a law doesn’t necessarily mean they are unsafe for the public they can have jobs earn a equal wage ect
