Since the 1960s trillions of dollars have been spent on black Americans through the welfare state. Handing black people checks has demonstrably not worked, nor has discrimination in favor of them. What needs to happen is black men need to stay with the women they get pregnant, work a job, keep their records clean, and actually be there for their children. No government handouts will get around this. Black Americans had the unfortunate timing of civil rights, the welfare state, and the sexual revolution happening roughly at the same time.
