Grocery costs in the country is mostly due to transportation costs in shipping. Those have increased not because of the war in Iran as we don't get any of our oil from there. No, Oil costs have increased because Newsom closed 3 significant oil refineries in California. Causing a supply shortage where the rest of the nation has to subsidize every part of that lost oil production. That's about 75% of the Grocery inflation since those oil refineries closed.
California is separated from the rest of the country so you can't explain how gas prices increased on the east coast other than Trump's war with Iran
