I'm all for diversity, as long as it's natural and not forced.
Diversity is tricky because a group of people need to have common values and shared interests. Which is easier to find across different races than it is different religions. Humans are complicated beings.

It's self limiting. Humans are social animals and highly susceptible to influence, so what starts as a joining of different cultures tends to dissolve into just one. And that seems a massive shame. Where I live is famous for it's massive Sikh population, but now we are at 5th/6th generation a lot of their traditions have died. All the colour and culture in how they used to dress has been replaced by a shirt and tie to fit in, and thats not a benefit for anyone other than the people selling shirts and ties y'know?
