Validate yourself by achieving stuff
That's the mindset of a narcissist. External achievement isn't the only thing worth validation.
That doesn’t actually work tho.
Same here! You are not alone 🫶🏻
Im audhd as well! Fuck these other commenters lol, theyre so used to being surrounded by people like themselves, they cant empathize with the experience of feeling alone and cant recognize how much they benefit from community. Its definitely important to surround yourself with limeninded people, especially as u settle into your diagnoses.
I do feel so alone and alienated.
Suck it up buttercup, life is no cake walk regardless of what neurowhatever you're diagnosed with. You gotta fit into the world, not the other way around.
So you want me to "suck up" my Autism and ADHD?
Suck up whatever needy needs it is you want someone to validate and get on with your life.
When you wrote that, did you think I haven't been trying that tactic first and foremost and for decades?
Needing outside forces to validate your needs is the problem. Only you can validate yourself
They'd like others to not dismiss their needs and struggles. To not say "you're exaggerating" or "that's not a real thing" or "it's not that bad" when they explain why something is difficult. If you experienced that 24/7, you'd feel the same way. No one wants to be told by others that their experiences aren't real and aren't important, especially by people who supposedly love you
Too bad. No one owes you anything. And I DO feel that 24/7 as someone with ptsd. So go fuck yourself and your assumptions
That's why they're saying they'd like this or it would be nice. Not that this must happen immediately, just that it would preferable
I have been too
I couldn't hear this louder...!
Me too... Last year. 30. What kind of bullshit no one cared to notice? People in my life still don't believe me!
Thought this was some new technology lmao
AuDHD here as well!
You and me both but its to easy to be taken advantage of and then forgotten when no longer useful
