Why do people think service dogs are sad, tortured creatures? Why is that such a common belief??? Im actually asking because i am simply baffled by that idea

I get this statement a lot lmao. Like, at least 3 times a week. And it always comes when my dog is very obviously having the time of his life. Always some variation of "aww, poor thing is being forced to work"
